“Hi, my name’s XXXXX. I’m fourteen years old and a freshman in high school. i’m about 5?6? and i weight 150 and i hate it. I’m have the worlds biggest hips and what you call ‘ thunder thighs’ and i cry every night. i do everything i can . I’ve done the special k diet, the 3 day diet, everything ! but i can never stick with it. I mean , it’s hard when your friends tell your boyfriend that he can do better and that it’s sweet how looks don’t matter to him. yeah , that happened to me and i’m going to stop it.I want to fit in with my friends. i want to be that ideal weight and everything. I skipped homecoming because I was afraid of showing up at my friends house in a dress. I hate this year so far and i need help. please please help me !

We here at Sensa Solution read comments like this all of the time.  We want you to know that we are not doctors and we are not counselors.  We are simply people who want to put an end to all of the silent crying of the obese young people throughout the world.  Let us look at the above statement and see what we can do for this wonderful young adult, lets us see how we can offer some help.

We want you to know that there is nothing you need to purchase or subscribe in your effort to shed the weight that makes you so unhappy.  In fact, weight loss can actually cost a person less in the long-run, than being overweight!  The first thing you should do is look at yourself in the mirror and not hate what you see.  Your hips are not ugly!  You are not ugly and that reminds us of a saying from a wonderful man, Dr. Wayne Dyer.  He says that the next time someone tells you what they think of you you should silently remind yourself  “What you think of me is really none of my business”.  What he was saying is that it really does not matter what the opinion other people have formed of you.  It really does not matter what others think, it really does not!  My father was a wonderful man and he once told me that if a person does not pay all of my bills, it really does not matter what that person thinks.  Does anyone really think that another person that is considered popular is cool because they make fun of another?  Does anyone really think that just because others are laughing at what is said is cool?  NO!  What is really going on is that all of the insecurities thay have are merely being hidden and covered up through their participation of being cruel.  They are quietly saying to themselves that they are glad they are not the ones being made fun of.

You mention the fact that you cry yourself to sleep everynight and that is something that you really need to seek help for.  You do not have to go about this alone.  Seek out information on health and nutrition.  Check out books and learn what it will take to become the person you want to be, because that person is really right there in the mirror.  Do not give up on yourself and never let another person torment you when they are being nothing more than cruel.

We do not want to discuss what is healthy to eat and how much of what should be eaten.  At least we do not want to discuss it in this essay.  What we do want to discuss is the fact that if you are unhappy about your weight, then take the first step and make a change.  If you are 100 pounds overweight you need to realize that it will take about a year to lose the weight.  There is no competition, there is no finish line, there is simply you!  Within every person is the ability to not only make a difference in the world, but also there is the power to make a change in their own life, their own world.

With that motivation that has gotten you to the bottom of this page make a decision to lose weight and do it one thing at a time.  If you cut out one soda a day for a year you can lose 15 pounds!  Make the decision to EDUCATE yourself as to what is healthy.  Learn about calories and how they work.  What is metabolism?  EDUCATION can be your first step in the lifetime journey of being the weight you desire.

Remember that the weight did not get on your body in one week and it will take awhile for it to come off.  Do not spend ANY money on diet pills or some fad diet.  Stop trying to be on ANY diet because ALL diets will fail you.  A diet is not something you can live on for the rest of your life.  What you need to do is start to educate yourself in what is healthy to eat?  What is the food pyramid?  Start and take the first step to having the confidence you need to become the person you dream about.  Start with knowledge and then use that knowledge in a constructive way and then hang in their and make it happen!  Below are two links to Unites States Government websites that can help you get started on you new journey.
